In it's collapsed state, the platform sits at a slight angle. The front of the platform is 4" and tapers up to 5" at the business end. Hope this helps.

Thanks Lonnie. Just the info I needed. That'll work. Been riding and wrenching on old Ironheads for too long. This RK is quite a step up, but I knew my old jack wouldn't be able to handle it. Ride safe man...
