Default Throttle by wire on 2014 Breakout?

I'm looking to install the TBW system on my 2014 Breakout. As far as I can tell, I would need the handlebar sensor and an electronic controlled throttle body. There is a molex connector behind my air filter that is blanked off, assuming that is what would plug into the Electronic Throttle body from the ECU.

Besides that, new handlebars to accept the grip sensor and the cruise control assembly I think this is totally doable. It would clean my bars up a good bit and have a really nice cruise control system instead of that dingy throttle screw.

Any input on this is greatly appreciated!

Cruise on TBW bikes is ECM controlled. Have to have a switch to activate, so I'd look at the parts book for a CVO Softail Deluxe, 2014 or 2015, for parts needed. Guessing ECM, bars, handle bar switches, wiring harness, TB, TGS, injectors, maybe BCM. Gonna be expensive.

Probably be cheaper to buy a Touring and convert it to a break out.

Yea, this isn't going to be worth the money just for electronic cruise control.

Change your grips to the type that has a paddle on the throttle side. I just did this to my old Heritage and it made a world of difference.

No, I would need all new electronics, wire harness and additional hardware. All of this would probably cost over $3,000.

Just trade it in on a '13 or '14 CVO Breakout. You will get everything you are looking for and then some.
