Crossing my fingers for you. As far as the battery, try batterymart.com. Same battery as Deka, made by Eastern Penn, and cheaper. Usually they have free shipping.

Thanks larsfum, will check it out! Borrowed my buddies battery out of his totaled 09 Roadglide, she was a little slow starting, but finally fired! Idle was 2800 rpm, so I put the battery on charger, disconnected the ground cable, pulled the ecm and fuel pump fuses, and let it sit for 4 hours. Went back and reconnected everything, hit starter and didn't roll over half a round before it fired and went to a 1300 rpm idle then back to 1000 rpm! Yippee!!! lol. Will try to get a battery by this weekend and get her out on the road! Thanks for all your help, it's really helped keep me focused on getting her up and going.

A special thanks to you hrdtail78, for staying on this thing until you got the tune straightened out. If it hadn't been for your expertise, it would probably still be idleing at 2000 rpm's getting 28 mpg! You stuck with me until you had her perfect! hoping to get 10,000 to 12,000 miles on her this year, lol.

With all the problems you have had with this bike. It isn't always enjoyable and it is down right frustrating. Your patience and attitude as a customer sure makes it easier. Thank you.

Battery installed, rode 30 miles, check engine light comes on! Now what? got the computer on it and ecm show barometric pressure sensor, so, my buddy and I start to pull it out, and signal goes from .10 to 1.00 ( normal), wiggled wires and signal will come and go. Wire tied it to wiring harness, rode another 30 miles, and so far so good! if it will make it to winter, he's going to run some new wires for me. If not, then we will put it up for the season, until we get wires replaced. So, a little bad luck, and a little good, lol!!

I feel for you. I'm going through issues with mine now, it's getting to the point that I'm thinking of getting a different bike.
Mine runs good for awhile then starts having problems. Resolve the problems good for awhile, then deja vu back to square one.
Right now a '09 or newer Fltr, or a Evo Fxrt that has been rebuilt from the ground up are tempting.
