Default Fuel Problem?

No fuel going to spark plugs. Fuel Pump appears to be working as I hear it pressurize. Any ideas? 2007 Fatboy EFI. At first I thought it was an ignition issue and replaced the coils, spark plugs+wires and crank position sensor. Bike still doesn't start but cranks fine. No error codes.

Easy way to test fuel pressure is to a start your bike when the fuel pump is priming (don't wait for the light to go out). If it starts then you know for sure you have a fuel pressure issue.

Tried that it didn't start. I replaced all ignition components. but the spark plugs are dry with no fuel so I know its a fuel delivery problem. Just don't know if its the EFI Line itself that is screwed up or a filter is clogged. I did a 107 upgrade and drained and filled the tank so i don't know if refueling caused a blockage somewhere. I'll pull out the assembly and see. I even checked the cam timing as well just in case and its pretty much setup to spec. Been at this for nearly 4 days.

So, you didn't check for spark before replacing all of those components?

Need to find a starting point here.

So, has the bike ever run since this "upgrade"?

Did it run fine before the "upgrade"?

What did the "upgrade" involve? (as in what stuff did you touch that may not have gone back together correctly?)

Easy enough to find out if the fuel line is clogged. Disconnect it and point it into a safe place. Chances are, you will make a mess but know the pump works and line is flowing.

The pump doesn't supply fuel to the cylinders, the injectors do. You may want to check wiring to those.

Do you have a service manual? There is a flow chart to follow for diagnosing these types of problems.

I did the top end upgrade which includes cylinders and pistons and new heads. I put new cams and pushrods adjustable. I labelled everything from screws to wires. I did remove the fuel tank to drain it so I can take it off the frame easier. I put new OEM crossover line when putting it back in. I cranked it and didn't start. So I changed the spark plugs. Cranked again and look at the service manual and saw possibly with the diagrams it was either coils or crank position sensor. I changed both and the wires. Same thing. Checked the cam timing and it was fine. Pushrods were adjusted accordingly because I have done so before. When I put the bike on run I can hear the pump priming. I changed all the fuses to brand new too. So the only thing I can think of that I didn't touch upon it the fuel line itself going to the injectors or as the service manual said in the troubleshooting section that possible fuel filter clogged. So I figure maybe when I put the gas back in the line or filter got clogged in the tank.

Could be as you suspect.

If you had the induction module off (which it sounds like you did) you had to disconnect the injector wires. Could they have gotten pinched somewhere?

Did you look at the filter when you drained the tank? If it has never been replaced, it very well could be due.

I can think of 2 possibilities. Are you certain that the fuel line fitting is properly locked onto the tank fitting?
The other possibility is that valves are not completely closing due to either misadjustment or a rocker arm hitting the rocker box. Compression check would be in order to check valve seating.

No i drained it from the crossover line when i took the tank off. Never took off the fuel pump module only disconnect the harness. Ill check the injectors wires and see if there is a pinch. I know i put everything back the way it was because i labeled the wires and the connectors. But i know its a definite fuel problem. I was up till 1 am putting the ignition components that are brand new from HD back in. Didnt account fuel.

You took the tank off. How did you disconnect it from the bike if you didn't disconnect the fuel line from it? Don't discount the compression idea--if there's no compression, the computer won't provide fuel or ignition.

No I did disconnected the fuel line and crossover line in front. I didn't take out the fuel pump is what I meant.
