Default Tts tuning help

New member long time reader and rider.
Just finished 106 build on my 07 heritage.
S&S 570
Level b heads fuel moto
10.1 compression
Vance hines true duals
Se 50mm tb with 4.9 injectors.

Bike came with tts master tune installed (older black ver) and i am not familiar but learning. I have a power commander 5 with auto tune on shelf but not installed.
I called tts and loaded a map they recommended, and changed cu to 106 from 103. I see the injector size was set to 3.8 so i changed that in map to 4.9? Tts did tell me to change cu to 106 but did not mention injector size? Am i on the correct path? Does anyone have similar build with tts? Should i go to my pc5? Would be nice to save the monies and sell pc5 and use tts since it cam with bike?
Thanks in advance!

Default Also

If tts recommended this map to start with after i told the tec everything about the motor could he of forgot to mention change injector size or? Will changing it screw up the map and make it to fat with fuel? I read somewhere that you make injector size 85% of what it is,,but if harley injectors put 100% of what they are??

Set it to 4.9. Leaving it at 3.8 will probably make it very rich. Decreasing injector size is similar to increasing the cubic inches.

Thanks for reply Lone wolf! I did set it to 4.9 and made 2 30 miles runs recording date to vtune. After each run i merged the date and made a new file. One thing i noticed was vtune keeps making my cid bigger? After first run changed to 112 and second run it is now 117? is this normal?

Bike seems to run strong except: let say you are in second gear and maybe you should be in first so it is slugish, give it gas and she pops and backfires. if you down shift and the revs are there it does not do it.

defiantly going to need stiffer clutch spring, can feel it slip with all the tq now.

Depends why it wants to bump the cu in's. It will want to do it when you have ve's approaching 127.5. For me it depends on where that is happening. I would think with your build it shouldn't need to go that high. Using vtune3 I only let it make changes to the ve's until they are getting close. You can look at the suggested changes and then back up and accept or decline once you look at the ve changes.

i am not sure how to set those permissions? must be in advanced mode when merging data? Rode it again tonight after merging another v tune. seems to be getting worse on the bottom end? Sputtering and backfire if to low in rpm for gear.
If i had a carb i would drop the needle and pilot jet but i have a computer and software? lol times change.
They need to make a wysiwyg editor editor for guys like me..

I wold love to but i just signed up and that is not active yet? must be a probationary period? When i go there it says i dont have permission?

first name . last name at gmail .com

I started over with original file recommended from tts dpi 176 03 and changed injector to 4.3, and used the cam selector to match my cam. It ran good. no problems on bottom end?

Did 2 30 mile vtune runs. I see now in advanced mode how i can get the options you stated about engine size and it asked me about changing cubes again on second vtune run from 106 to 112. would love to send you the data if you email me.
