Screamin Eagle Super Tuner Pro, wont record?
Hi All
My 2013 Iron came with a Screamin' Eagle Super Tuner Pro which is presumably married up to the ecm. I've changed the baffles on the V&H short shots so thought i'd have ago at updating the fuelling via the SESTP.
So I downloaded the software and I sat through the tutorials and hooked up the VCi which was then updated. As I understood it, I now I go out and record one or more runs of up to 15 minutes max.
I get the bike up to running temp and pull the vci out of my pocket but it isnt lit up? I pull over and check all the connections and they are okay. I note that when I plug the connector in and out the led lights up briefly but goes straight back out again?
I thought the led should be permanantly on when conected and then start flashing once I press to record. As it isnt have i missed something obvious here?
I assume the VCi is okay as the software recognised it and updated it?
Many thanks.

So when the bike is connected to the PC I hit data record and then the vci will be red and start flashing red when I press the black button?

Ahh I see. I'll have to go back and continue with the tutorials. After what seemed like 3 hours of disclaimers and individual component function I was losing the will to live and just decided to go for a ride and record some actual data. I see I have to prompt the software to put the vci in record mode first. Will try that next weekend. Appreciate the reply.
