94 Sportster Misfire/Ignition problem...Cam Sensor? ECM?
Hey all
I have a misfire. The bike will start and run on 1 cylinder. I narrowed it down to the ignition system, as one of the exhaust pipes is blowing cold air through it and when I removed the spark plug it was wet with fuel. First thing I did was replace the plugs. I looked at the plug wires and saw that one of the leads was not pushed all the way into the coil and there was a lot of corrosion in there. So I replace the wires and coil. Still have the same prob. There are only 2 more parts to swap out in this system, the Cam sensor and the ignition module(ECM). Which part would you tackle next? Also is there a procedure to test the cam sensor?
Thanks
Craig
