At this time we have not done the 2001 - 2004 models with the new system. It still works as the SERT did. In the future we will update those but it's not being worked on right now so I cannot give any time line just yet for those.

Default Sert instead with an '04?

So I would find a Harley dealer for info on that?

Any Mastertune dealer can handle it for you. There are several here on the site or you can look to our website for dealers

Ok, newbie here - got my unit and software on Thur. and after easy rider show today I was able to upload my current ECM info to the MTE file. Looking back at the master tune help files it looks like Steve or someone at TTS could turn this file into a .mt7 file. Should I do this and look at where I am at now and work from this file or work from one of the files already suggested above ... would be interesting to look at what I have now because I like what I am getting until I get some pinging.... would be interesting to see why/what is happening.....Off to do more reading :-)

Depends- sometimes less is needed, sometimes more is needed. The hotter the engine is, the less accel enrichment is needed.

PE values override the AFR table values when at WOT ?
As I understand it, yes, the PE is usually set richer to protect/cool the cylinder, and the system will defer to which ever is richer .

You should use the closest base file that is in the calibration files you have. These have already been tuned and with V-tune to finish the job will be better than the backup you've made.

So can I load a MasterTune Mt6 file on a 01-04? I will just have to tune it as if it were a SERT? This is because 01-04 don't have o2 sensors and will not support the VTune features as the newer Mt7 files do.

Yes, you can load a .mt6 file from the calibrations and tune just as you would with a SERT on the 2001 -2004 models

To Rigidthumper :

thank you for the input about AE tables, much appreciate

To Steve Cole :

I've been looking in the Datamaster help for PE Mode and find it in "Datamaster Item descriptions" but I wasn't able to activate this value in the Status bit window ...
Could it be that I tried on O2 data records ?

I have read through the help files once, followed Docs instructions and have done two Vtune runs. I just finished re-reading this thread. I have a couple of questions: when I am filling in the VE tables I am using the last values from the printed second run to fill in the final tables correct? I must have used older instructions because they said 680-720 for CLB table I used 684 which according to the calculator is somewhere btwn 14.62 and 14.64. Can I just change the CLB before I save and then send it to the ECM or do I need to reset to a different value like 778 = 14.45 and do new Vtune runs?? Thanks in advance TIA
Also my VE tables did not fill at the 1% throttle can I use the 2% values at 1%
