Need help with P0122 TP Sensor Open/Low EFI code
I posted this over in the Dyna section also, just seeing if anyone else has ideas.
My bike has been surging occasionally for a while now. Yesterday got worse though. The check engine light came on twice. I checked the codes and it was P0122 TP Sensor Open/Low EFI code. I cleared the code, went on a test ride and it did the same think. Same code came up also. I'm lost, I don't know a lot about electrical. Do I need a new throttle position sensor? Any help would be appreciated.

Since the mid 80 lots of Throddle Position sensors on almost all vehicles. New Dixie Choppers have one now. Fuel injection uses this and 4-5 others to keep track of whats going on with the engine.
Most of the time its a round plastic thing, maybe 1 1/2 in around mounted outboard the TB on the shaft oppisite the bell crank.
Two small screws and the wires hold it on. Easy to replace if it is bad. Not too terribility expensive. A rheostat is what it is.
Might check and make sure the connections here are ok and not wet or corroded. These come and go to the ECM. Don't break the keepers. Look close and you can see how they come apart.
