Hey Iron lovers, I have heard various people say this year or that year is "the last real ironhead" for various reasons and it is not always the same year. So for the sake of knowledge and discussion, which year do you think is the last real ironhead?

To hell with arguing!! everyone knows that it was 1981, the last year of AMF, my bikes year!! darn straight!!

 

An Ironhead is an Ironhead. Some are more new than others, but anyone who says an '85 (or whatever) isn't a real Ironhead is a hipster dufus.

Last week i was coming up on a guy driving what i was sure was an Ironhead in a Houston main street, I was surpriced to find out that it was an evo sportster made to look like an Ironhead, there are guys out there giving their bike that retro look, this was not factory, it was a home job.
I got a little pleasure out of someone copying us now !
