Default 71 Ironhead Project

So, I'm getting a 71 Ironhead basket case with plans of making it a bobber. I've never done any kind of bike build before, and do not plan to end up with a $15k custom masterpiece, just a decent enough, kinda rat rod style bobber.
I already know that I need to get new forks for it, and I really like the springer front ends, any suggestions on a place with decent prices?
Any other input or suggestions are welcome.

Thanks
