I ran across this fine scooter and I had to do a double take. On closer inspection it was an S$S motor (damn they make some fine looking works) sitting in an old 50s straightleg. Not the real thing, but certainly a nice daily ride says I.
cheers.

if it were mine i would loose the bubble bags, and the small seat

put leather bags on - and a pogo with a copy of a real seat and call it a day - ride it for 10 years

That is pretty sweet. Where can I find some info on rides like that? Just don't see stuff like that often.

Yeh that is hot, I would not mind having that in my stable.

BUT....

Someone pulls in the lot with a REAL Knuckle and now you are just a dweeb. At least they didn't put it in a Softail frame. Just sayin'.

I agree. A pogo and leather bags if any at all. Clean!
In the face of the real thing it might feel a bit strange, but more than likely the guy with the true '47 is too busy to notice 'cause his head is buried deep doing some wrenching. There is that fine line of going too far to mimic the past machines. I have to admit I was sickened when the Heritage came out. But that was back when I thought I could wrench anything. Now, I just want a reliable scoot. But I digress…
Cheers!

Agreed....Very few people (Mostly Old Timers) recognize what the Knucklhead is. Even though mine is no where near original the motor
and frame are close. I just love to ride it and look at people watching when
I kick it to start it up.

Personally I would love to have that as a daily rider.
Having something like that is definitely on the wish list.
