Bike insurance

I'm 32 with a perfect record. Shopped around with 4 different companies. I have multiple discounts applied to my current policy (safe driver, homeowner, multi car, and alma mater) and still pay almost $900. The only way it would be less is if I didn't have full coverage or was riding an older bike. Location plays a huge factor in your insurance rates. I have a friend who lives closer to the city than I do and he pays $1200 for a similar setup.

Coupla things..
Few clarification from your forum insurance guy (I do this for a living)..
* Requesting a quote w/out your SSN - You'll get an artificially lower rate. As soon as they run your SSN, you'll get jacked.. Sooo your exercise will be futile
* Over 500.00 is too high - Not true.. It depends where you live and your bike... Even with a "clean " record...
Hope this helps...
