Default H-D Insurance is it really cheap?

Keep getting e mails about how low priced their insurance is. Before I make a call to find out I thought I would ask here. Has anyone found their rates to be lower than other companies?

They are not the cheapest. I checked several companies, they are all pretty close in price. I have state farm.

Checked them a couple years ago. Progressive beat them at that time. Allstate bettered progressive here no more than a yr ago.

I have 300,000 lib. 500.00 deductible, comp. and collision. 95.93 every 6 months. I do have 2 homes and 4 other vehicles insured. We have been with SF for about 40 years. All most no claims.

you may want to increase your liability to @ least a Million.... u ever hit some one and live u will loose ur shirt ... most people sue for no less then a Mill and if so ur Ins. will cut u a cheque for 300 000 and ur left to defend ur self

It was high in my case. Switched to geico this morning for a savings of about 50%

They write through progressive if you were wondering

They are very fair. My HD insurance is through Dairyland. Your rate depends on so many variables, any answer here will be useless. What I CAN tell you is the claim process is very, very fair. Wish I didn't know that, but... The value of an insurance policy is only apparent when you file a claim.

I think Progressive is the carrier for HD. I used to use them but last renewal they tried to double my rate so I went with Allstate.
