2004 fxdxi
SOLD 2004 Harley Davidson FXDXI Super Glide Sport
I thought I’d post it here before listing it on CL.
I purchased this bike new in 2005 it now has 24,400 miles. Excellent condition always kept in climate controlled garage. No scuffs or scratches. Stage one was done early on. Maintenance such as oil changes, brake fluid, always done more often than schedule. Front Metzeler has 2,000 miles, rear just installed 20 miles ago.
About 19K the complete 20K service was done by the dealer. At the same time the cam chain tensioner system was upgraded to the new hydraulic set up. In addition since they were in there a SE 204 cam was installed. HD slip-ons were installed last year then it was dyno-tuned with a TTS. The bike runs nice and is throatier than stock but not loud.
At 22K new brake pads were installed, the stock shocks were upgraded to Works Performance units. I noticed the front isolator was torn, the rear was fine but I replaced both.
There are a number of extras which have been added or are included.
T-Sport saddlebags basically new.
Corbin Solo seat (stock dual seat as well)
Luggage rack
Braided brake lines
Storage box behind battery
Heated grips
Early on I installed HD passing lamps and quick release windshield, I didn’t care for either and eventually took them off. They are included as well as the factory service manual. $8,300. *Reduced* $7,900. PM or cliftonwv@gmail.com
Here’s an old image with the shield and lamps. (Also shows the previous saddlebags which were replaced with the T-Sport bags.)
