I'm putting my 107 kit together this weekend and don't need my stock heads, cylinders, and pistons any more. Parts have 20K on them, always ran with mobil 1 20w50 fully synthetic and ran perfect. I bought new cylinders and heads with ACRs for my build to minimize downtime.

These are the all black fins without highlight.

FYI. These parts won't increase displacement. A 96 is a stroked 88. Same Pistons, Cyls, and Heads. But are fine if you wanted to rebuild your top end

I assume he means to take the heads and cylinders and bore them it would not make much sense to take apart the entire top end and not go ahead and do a big bore and work on the heads some .....

 

Or maybe he thinks it will turn his 88 into a 96.... A lot of people are under that impression.
Cheap and easy rebuild though, if he had a high mileage motor that needed freshening up.
