The old man from North Padre Island, TX>
Hello, My name is Rich, born and raised in Missouri, retired and moved to the 3rd coast in Texas. At 68 I bought a new Honda Aero 750cc, and I road with the PGRSTX (still do). I now have sold that house in Texas and moved back to Missouri. Now at 72 i,m in the process of going to Dallas and picking up a 2007 Electra Glide Ultra Classic, Black Pearl from a friend. My only thought is, what a weight change (540 to 8??), hope I can handle it. I know I will learn alot from this fourm and just might have some questions.

Welcome aboard Rich. My guess is you'll feeel way more comfortable on that new scoot than you thingk. After 4 yrs on a sporty I got a chance to take a Softtail Deluxe for a test ride. Didn't even notice the weight difference - just hopped on & took off. Actually easier to ride than my sporty and felt like I had been on it for years. Have fun.
