Default help! check engine light is driving me crazy!

Hey Folks, I have a 99 Dyna that has the check engine light on...Continuously! Problem is I have no idea why. I've done the test to get codes 3 times now. All I get Is d01Clr (1-11) Then Cal 09. When I restart the bike the engine light actually clears for about 3 seconds then comes back on. According to what I'm reading if its throwing a code I should see something else. Help Please??

Have you checked the ground from voltage regulator? It can be just slightly loose and cause the check light to come on.

Hey Thanks, Mick, for your response. I wish your suggestion was the fixer but everything is secure. No loose, frayed, or fried wires. I must admit this issue, I think, occured when the cam went bad years ago. Can got fixed bike ran great. Just figured the check engine light didnt reset itself. Now it's bugging me! Still runs great.
