Default 1953 Harley Rebuild Help

Hello,

I am new to HD Forum but I am looking for some help/opinions.

I am rebuilding a recent "true barn find" 1953 K-Model (1955 KHK Motor Installed) and I am down to 6 colors and I the one with the most mass appeal; truthfully, I am struggling horribly with the color selection.

I would appreciate your input in making my decision.

"Mayday"

I have seen color #3, the blue, and always admire it on the old scoots. Good luck with the build, keep us posted on your progress.

Nice project. If it were mine, I would attempt to determine the original color and go with that. Welcome!

Paint it what it is now. That is only faded. And get rid of the flex pipe on the front, that looks terrible!

OKMick: Based on my research all the colors on the sheet are original HD colors according to a couple sites. They are (left to right, top to bottom) Bronco Bronze Metallic, Brilliant Black (w/Persian Red - '56), Atomic Blue, Flight Red, Metallic Green, and Flamboyant Green.

Krutch: As for the flex pipe...100% agreed.

Brilliant Black (w/Persian Red - '56) is the best IMO
