V&H Slip on pipes
I have a 14 heritage and just bought some V&H straightening slip ons. Do I need a torque wrench to put them on? If so, how much torque should I use? Thanks for helping this first time harley owner.

from what I've read in here.. its 60#'s cold,, then take a short ride to get them hot and re-Tq to 60 again...
OR you could call your dealer and ask one of the wrench's
AND also DON"T --- try to re-use your old muffler clamps over,, get new ones for the new muffs... they Stretch once used and can easily cause air leaks that can cause Decell poping if re-used
.Welcome to HDF, have fun and ride safe, from Central Indiana...

Welcome fellow Heritage jockey! I have a 13 Heritage. At 75 miles on the odometer, I installed Vance and Hines Straight Shot slip on's. I have had decel pop since. Just this past Friday, I got Vance and Hines fp3 and Big Sucker air cleaner. This should cure the decel pop.
