Default Midlife crisis from AZ

Hi all,

I'm Jon from hot Arizona. I am going through a midlife crisis so I sold my woodworking equipment and decided to get a bike. I've never ridden before but I've always wanted to. When my wife didn't object I decided now was the perfect time. I signed up for my motorcycle training class which is in a week and a half. I'll get my endorsement from the class and be legal to ride. Better still, I'll have some training and knowledge before hitting the roads.

Been watching CL for a couple weeks and this beauty called out like a siren to me. First used bike I went to look at and I bought it. Since I can't ride yet the seller was nice enough to bring it to my place. Gonna change fluids and brakes while I wait for my class. New tires will be first road trip I make - straight to my dealer for new rubber.

Here she is 2005 XL 1200C ... She has some aftermarket adds and 12k miles.

Jon

Nice! Great bike to start with! Take it easy and get comfortable with it slowly and you'll be fine! Welcome to our world and to the forum from Ohio!

Congrats on the new toy, and welcome. Slow and steady wins the race, in the early days at least.
