Hello,
Would like to introduce myself to the forum. My name is Steve and I have owned a 1999 Road King Classic since 2002. Previously I owned other brands but, in 2002 I was hit head on by a Taxi (I hate Taxi) and totaled my New 2001 Yamaha V-Star. Since I was in the market for a new bike, I decided to buy a Harley and never had any regrets.
I have been riding since I was 14 and am presently a member of the American Legion Riders Post 194 out of Hamilton, MA. I'm also a disabled Vietnam Era Vet.
This Year we (Ruthie, Myself, and our pup Ruby) traveled cross country from Massachusetts to Oregon (southern route) and back, 8,200 miles in 20 days. This was our second trip, we did the run in 2012 while our son was deployed to Afghanistan.
I am looking forward to getting good advice from this Forum.
