My 07 Heritage soft tail engine light keeps coming on with the code for low battery. My battery is new . when it comes on my 6th gear light goes off but later it goes out and gear light does fine. This happens and then works normal. Any suggestions?

Sounds like a ground problem. Check both ends of your ground cable, battery to frame...
