Default New Member in the Twin Cities (MN) looking to make his first HD purchase!

In the market for an FLHRC and it will be my first Harley. If anyone in the Twin Cities area has a 2011 FLHRC in the Rootbeer color and wouldn't mind letting me come by to take a look I would be very appreciative. The fiance and I were planning a black 2013 because this classic looking bike just looks so good in black, but we love the rootbeer color in pics and wonder if it's as pretty in person. I've found a good price on a used one close to someone I trust who can check it out for me and am ready to pull the trigger...just a tad worried the color doesn't translate accurately over the internet.

thanks,
Jason

The Root Beer looks great in person. Nice and deep color, that is different but not trendy. Some colors are nice, but a few years later look dorky. I wouldn't hesitate to buy a bike that color. Hurry up and buy one while there is snow on the ground!

It doesn't translate accurately at all. It looks great in person in the sunlight. I bought mine new and didn't even see it till I went to get it. The first thing I said was "holly crap!". I had no idea it was metal flake.
