Default Getting my First HD. is this a good deal?

i am trading my 2013 boulevard s40 for a 1996 sporster custom. They have it listed at $5,500 which seems high based on my research. What kind of deal do you guys think I should be getting for this trade? Is it worth it? Any suggestions or advice will be greatly appreciated! I will link the bike below. I hope I can join the Harley family soon!

Thanks,
-Rob

Definitely high. I sold my 2007 sportster last year for $4800. Bought it in March 2011 for $5500.

Never trade in a bike to a dealer to buy another, new or used. Sell your Suzuki yourself. Then take your time, educate yourself, and find a private seller if your buying used of course.
If your thinking new, save, save, save. Do everything you can not to finance. If you save $800 a month for one year, you should be able to pay cash on a new Sportster!!!
But your original question, the bike in question seems very high priced.
