Default Tire Balanced

I took my SGS to the dealer to have rear tire replaced two weeks ago and today while cleaning back rim I noticed that the original weights that were on the rim were removed but there is no trace of any weights at all. Is it possible that the wheel did not require any ( this seems doubtful to me ) and I would I know if it does. I haven't noticed any vibration seems the same as it was prior to tire swap and I've had bike up to 170kmh. The invoice says they balanced the wheel.

Many of the new tires are made so true that balancing is not required.I watched a Michelin Commander II installation that the balancing equipment showed no need to balance.

My guess is you either lost your weights (happens all the time) or they told you they balanced and didn't. Tires have gotten better in recent years, but nearly all will need some balancing. You are better off with a "Dynamic Balance" anyway. Grab a bottle of "Ride On" and be done with it. Heck, even if you did find weights I would suggest to pry them off, and go dynamic.
