Paint Flaw on my 2015 Ultra Limited
As I was giving my New Ultra Limited a detailed cleaning today after a weekend trip I noticed a tiny bump on my on the top of my front fender near the front. I have the silver and black Limited. If you were walking around looking at the bike you couldn't see it but I was washing it and felt the bump with my finger. I didn't have my reading glasses on and the sun was very bright and it looked like maybe some tree sap or something like that. I took my sponge and give it a good rub and the bump came of along with some brown looking substance that seem to be under the paint. I'm thinking some trash was painted over at the factory. If you're standing in front of the bike and you know it's there you can see the spot.
I bought the bike last month and it only has 1500 miles on it and I'm not happy with it. My dealer is 70 miles from where I live.
Has anyone here had this problem and how did you handle it. I wish I had not rubbed it off now because the dealer will probably say it's a rock chip.

It's brilliant silver pearl and I don't see metal just what looks like the undercoat. It's about the size of the head bobby pin.

I'm honestly not that impressed with the new paint on my SGS either. Nothing like that, but the orange peel in the fender is horrible and the pearl looks blotchy. I realize I'm a little obsessive, so I'm going to get over the pearl and possibly try to wet sand and buff the fender. I'm nervous about doing it to the factory paint though. Most factory cleat isn't that thick.

If you ride I know your going to get specks and tiny dings and pecks from road debris but this is not my fault. I'll call the dealer tomorrow and ask them about it. I can't blame the dealer because like I said not unless you felt the bump with your finger you would have never seen it that color.
Now there is a dark gray spot where the bump was on top of my front fender.
