Looking to upgrade my Rushmore audio and I think I know what I want to do and have it narrowed down. A friend gave me a J&M 250W 2 channel amp that came out of an 08 RG. I contacted J&M and they said that their wiring harness for my 14 SG cost $230 and a mounting bracket cost $160! That's $390!

Then, another friend sold me a pair of Boom Stage 1 fairing speakers for $50 (good deal). They are 2 ohm speakers and so is my amp but now, I'm considering just getting the boom amp (4 channel - 75 watts per channel) for these speakers because I could easily add Boom Stage 1 Lower Fairing speakers later on with the 4 channel Boom amp. I would not be spending that much more at the end of the day for the boom amp over the J&M amp.

So the question is what amp should I use? They are both 2 ohm amps and at the end of the day it will cost me a similar amount. They both have plug and play harnesses so it would not mess with my warranty, etc.
