Not using straight 60, but using Liqui-Moly 10w-60. Ran it in my 12 RGU, just switched over my current bike also. There is a thread over on HTT, extensive read. For me it helped quiet the 12 motor down a bit. That bike didn't like Mobil 1.

I use Spectro 25-60 dino oil... best I've found.

Mobil 1 20-50 is the worst I've tried as far as noise... nothing else comes close.

Just wear earplugs. If you dont want to hear the noise.

I've ran HD 360, Valvoline VR-1 20/50(conv), Brad Penn HP 20/50, Mobil1 V-Twin 20/50 and they all sounded the same and recorded oil temp numbers similar(within 3 degrees, IR gun used) of the oil they replaced on the same day, same loop, same everything. Have Redline 20/60 on hand for this summer only due to the fact that with 11.5-1 compression now I expect to be running a bit hotter than before so I was thinking a 60 viscosity would be better, I guess I'll see if it is, LOL.

I run 20W-50, I'm not operating in a hot climate so I don't need the higher viscosity

You might want to re-read the manual if you think you can run 60 weight in your engine.

I did see the manual states I could run SAE 60 above 80* also. I still use 20W50 and will continue to do so. I'd run it if I was riding in hotter weather but I prefer to ride when it's cooler.

Liqui-Moly 10w-60, seems to work very well & quieter than Amsoil or M1V2
Got the info from HarleyTechTalk "HTT" as well
