Default Once you go black....

It was a bunch of work, but so worth it. Now I need to do something about the pinstripe. I hate that gold stripe.

Actually not bad. I did all the work myself, and this was right at my 1000 mile service interval. So I already had to drain the fluids. Just had to buy a few extra gaskets, the fork rebuild kit, and some fork oil. (I like the heavy oil better anyways)

I paid a little over $400 for all of the powder coat.

Here is what it looked like a few days ago.

Just as all chrome is not for me. That is the great part about motorcycles. they are so easy to make your own.

I am going to try a roll of black pinstripe tape first. If that doesn't satisfy me I will have someone stripe over it with paint.

I don't know why they would mess up a perfect black bike with pinstripes. I feel your pain. I hate my pinstripes also. But I like chrome on it. Different strokes,,,,,,,,,
