Default Infotainment Question

I bought this 2014 SGS with 900 miles on it. It did not come with the Infotainment booklet.
My problem is that the Voice Command system does not hear me at all, never.
My bluetooth is working or connected to my Iphone 5S. I can call out and receive calls but I'm not heard, callers don't hear my voice, even with the engine shut off.
I checked the setting and all three options are set for Speaker, not Headphones.
Any ideas? I'm sure I'm missing something simple. BTW my Iphone connects and works properly using Bluetooth in my GMC .
Also tried increasing volume but still not being heard. Speakers blast out Voice Commands, incomming calls, and radio. (Almost like the Microphone is muted or shut off.) I don't know where the microphone location is.

The bluetooth on the bike is not compatible with your, or any, bluetooth headset. You must use a wired headset to use voice command or hear any output from the BoomBox.

I may have misunderstood your question.....

Have you checked the Harley site for a free owners manual download?

Here is a link to the Harley BoomBox manual. This is the 2015 manual but it is compatible with the 2014 radio. Actually the 2015 manual has a lot more information in it than the 2014 does.

If I get a call. I can answer it and hear them. Just no talking back without the headset.

You will need a wired head set , don't know if the sgs came with the connection point on the dash for the head set you may need that to.

So I need to get a wired headset and connect it to the USB cable within the Media Compartment? Or does it connect somewhere else?
I have no PTT button.

Should I have said it is not fully compatible with bluetooth headsets?
