Gap where fairing, windshield, and inner-fairing meet - is that 'normal' ?
I just picked up my 2015 Ultra Limited from the shop, after having a repair done, which involved getting inside the fairing.
After I got home, I noticed a gap between the fairing/windshield/inner-fairing where they meet at the left and right edge of the windshield.
Is this normal ?
I'll attach a couple pictures.

I have a gap too, on the left side, when looking from the riders position. It's still noticeable when the windshield is attached but it's obviously worse when the windshield screws are out. I can push the gap shut but it will not stay that way, irrespective how tight the screw for the windshield are. They can't be tight anyway as I have noticed - should have checked the torque values, damn it, as I cracked my LRS shield. In any case, that gap doesn't seem right and I'll have my dealer take a look at it at some point.

Is that a stock windshield?
There is a slight gap on my 2016 SGS.
The gasket that goes between the two halves is soft and can stretch a bit as well as appear shorter depending on how it is positioned.
I would loosen the windshield screws and try to work it a bit if you're concerned.
My 2¢

Here's my thoughts...
As I said earlier the fairing halves have a gasket between them.
The gasket function as I see it is to seal out most of the water, dust, and crap and to provide something to squeeze down onto when bringing the two halves together. It is also cosmetic.
Call it a seal if you want but the fairing windshield assembly is not waterproof. Water can and will go down the shield into the inside so water getting in should not be a major concern.
I would think its a cosmetic issue more than anything else.
Like a seal around a dishwasher or refrigerator the gasket is pliable.
Loosen the fairing halves and stretch it just a bit and see if you can close the gap.
If you need to close say a 1/4" or 3/8" gap start as far down as you can and try to get a little stretch going.
I recently did just that when I put in an aftermarket windshield.
There is a cross sectional shape to the gasket so it sits on the fairing. Make sure that isn't off the fairing and taking away from the length.
Or, take it to your dealer and ask them to fix it.
in my opinion you can do it easily.
