Bubbak - how large is your disk?
IUOE Rob - same upload procedures.
d. Turn your vehicle's ignition switch to ACCESSORY. (Keyless ignition vehicles: press and hold the trip switch for more than
two seconds).
e. Turn on the audio system and connect the USB flash drive to the audio system's USB port.
f. The audio system will detect the new software available and ask if you want to update. Select “Yes”. The display will prompt
you to remove the USB drive when the update is complete.
Iron25 - what part of Detroit are you located. I am actually in Lake Orion but come down quite a bit.
I have the update on my flash and can load it for you - have done so for several others. Pop me a message and lets try to get together (unless your bike is currently stored at the dealership and we can't do it)
Jake - how far are you from Jacksonville - I am headed down there in late March. Plus, I will be riding towards St Augustine and Orlando. If you are near, maybe we can meet.
Here is another idea - if you three guys have faith in me, send me your flash drive. I will format it, upload the download and send it back to you. Then all you have to do it put in in your bike. It says 8GB but I am using a 4. Works fine for me.

Remember to turn the bike on with the usb drive disconnected. The navigation system has to have time to initialize before plugging in the thumb drive when doing the dealer update or other nav database update. This is different from the regular software update where the drive can be plugged in before turning on the bike.

Still no luck doing Dealer Update. I am using a 8GB drive. I formatted it and re-download the files. I tried files as downloaded and also unzipped. I tried inserting stick on start up and also after nav fires up no change all I get is authenticating on screen and nothing happens. Getting ready to give up and have dealer try it this spring. Bob
