I suspect the OP is talking 40k not in US dollars. Might be Aussie or New Zealand and that would be about right. 10k trade on his bike and 40k to get onto the M8 cvo Streetglide

Makes no sense!!!! Even if dealer only allowed wholesale on yours, how could you end up w/$40K loan and what financial institution would approve that high a loan??? Talk about being upside down...............................
Sorry but, you asked for opinions

I can see it being easily 40k Aussie dollars to change over.
2017 Cvo street glide is as good as 49k Aussie and throw in a few accessories or parts and tune and its well over 50k Aussie. Plenty of financial institutions in Australia will lend you that amount if you have a good credit history and income to support the payments.

This guy just got a screwing by the dealer, and shortly after 30 members gave him a spanking to the point he got scared off. Cut him some slack boys as we all make mistakes......

Good advice since it sounds like he doesn't have a choice.

Any pictures of the new bike?

Don't feel so bad, anyone who pays 40K for any motorcycle has a lot of Forrest Gump in them....
