I believe the only limitation is time that they're available (shooting the color); not specifically the volume of bikes produced. I believe that's been the way it's worked with all of the production 'custom colors'.

It's my guess that Daytona Blue will end with the 2014. I love the color, that is what I bought.

My Limited is also Daytona Blue, I have seen a few others while out cruising around Georgia, Tennessee, and Alabama. My second color choice was the Mysterious Red, but I already have a 09 RK in Red.

My dealer speculates it's only a half year run. But it's only a guess.

The motor company used Daytona Blue bikes in a lot of their marketing materials. Its the only color offered with it's unique graphics. I think marketing was the main purposes in the Daytona Blue custom color option. It is a more expensive paint. As you can tell, I really like it, especially in the sun.

Seems like it would be hard to know already since the '14s are still in production...

Limited to whatever HD decides to make, I guess. When I was at the dealer about 3 weeks ago, they had one Daytona Blue on the floor (with a sold tag on it), but told me they could still get them from the factory.
Very nice color.
