Default Short Antenna Suggestions?

I am looking for a good short antenna for my 2014 SG. I hate the look of the tall whip but the hidden antenna seem to be a pain to install.

Has anyone found a short, quality antenna in substitute?

I installed the HD hidden. It was a piece of cake.

Whatever you do, if you buy the screw on type....have the dealer install it.

I ran the factory whip up under the left side and put in a fender plug, but went back to the HD shorty for now. The reception tucked under the seat was worse than the shorty. The shorty doesn't look all that bad in my opinion.

I was just ready to caution against that, based on your experience!

Sorry, but along the same idea what are people doing to plug the cb antenna threads. I'm sure it will fill with water and rust
