Default Ultimate seats

I mentioned in another thread that I have just put and Ultimate seat on my 14 RK - this is the third Ultimate seat that I have owned and I have really liked all of them.

I have tried Corbin, Saddleman and the upgraded stock seats from Honda Triumph and Victory and none of them have been as comfortable as my Ultimate.

Ultimate is Canadian company that operates in Canada and the US (Florida) They are quite popular on Metrics but I don't see much about them on this forum so I assume they are less popular than Mustangs and Corbins on HD's

They make both two piece and one piece seat for our bikes and there are two or in some cases three versions Low Rider Mid Rider and Tall Boy which offer varying heights and distance to the bars. They also make an adjustable rider backrest and a passenger backrest pad.

I have struggled with numb bum and lower back pain on most of the motorcycles I have owned and ridden. i was pretty desperate and had tried three different seats on my Victory before I ordered and Ultimate. The difference was significant and I am now doing 400 mile days pain free which is a big improvement for me.

I have the Tall Boy solo and backrest on my 14 King and it seems just as good as the Ultimates i have had on the other bikes. I like the 2 inch setback and the slightly higher riding position as well.

I believe Ultimate has a 14 trial period on every seat so there isn't much risk in trying one if you are looking for something different. Their customer service is excellent and I had a minor fitment issue on the weekend and got and immediate response from the owner Des solving the problem.

Here are some pics of the seat on the RK.

I think there great seats and I seriously considered getting one before I got my saddlemen but the cost and the bulky look turned me away.

The Big Boy I had on my VTX was a real road sofa but as comfortable as hell
This one is a bit slimmer but seems as comfy. They wont suit folks who want the ultra slim looking seat though.

Yeah rode one once and was seriously impressed but the Price and how wide it was turned me off on them. Good seat just not my style. Comfy though for sure

I have the Tall Boy on my '14 Ultra and love it. I liked the fact that I had a 14 day trial period. Received the tall Backrest this week and got to try it one day. So far it's comfortable and easily adjustable while riding.

I have the numb butt problem on my Limited, I'm not sure which way to go yet to solve this... I'm going to look into them and see.

The big question: are they compatible with the adjustable Harley backrest.

I don't think so but I suggest giving them a call to get a definitive answer

No.

The receiver for their backrest is built into the seat. They wont work with any other backrest.

I am looking at this seat but I am concerned about where the back rest sits, is there a issue with the amount of room for a passenger?

Thanks Wojo
