Default Any changes seen in the update?

All the talk around here has been whether the update "took' or not.
Has anyone seen any improvements or changes or was this just a "bug" fix release??

Just a bug fix release from what I can see. No new features.

It HAS worked flawlessly for me for two days now but then again I wasn't really having any issues with version 1.17.4.

I believe my AVC works better than before, actually it did not work at all before.
I also did not have much adjustment with bass and treble, now I have something that is noticeable.

I had not used the GPS very much and it may be just the default setting, but today, i had more icons floating around the map then i have ever seen before. This may have always been there, i don't know, I know where to go to turn them on and off, but this was the first time i saw so many.

Everything that i tried on the new update worked, i still have to work on the getting it to come back to the ipod on start. i tried the sequence posted and it worked that night in the garage, but on first crank this morning it was back to the FM radio.

I did the update yesterday and I'm not sure it fixed any of the obvious bugs I've experienced. My radio still decides on it's own what it will start to (not necessarily what I was listening to last), and my Nav still defaults to Canada. Because of the Canada default, I can't use the voice control to input an address until I change the country to USA. Even then, every time I tried to say an address in Arlington, Va., it picked some place in California.

Oh well, at least the voice control works when I make calls.

I've only had the update installed for about 30 minutes. I left the media on (iPod) when I turned the bike off. Went out 20 minutes later, turned the bike on, and the iPod came up as the default, playing the song it had been when I shut the bike off. Don't know if this will last. But before the update, the radio would have defaulted to the last radio station I was listening to after shutting it down. I have a 4.3 system.

I installed the update today. I see exactly zero changes in anything.

My FAVORITE button on the outside of the screen won't hold it's memory since the update. I can reset it and it works as it should but not after restart. I actually like that feature and set it to my iPod so now I have to use the favorites within the screen. Not a big deal but it isn't right.

I've seen some posts about the "Canada default." What does this mean? I bought my 14 FLHTK in Michigan and rode back to NY. I inputted my home address and hit the Go Home button. 50-75 miles later, I had the sneaking suspicion that I was being routed through Canada, when I was seeing a lot of signs for Detroit. I was dealing with a learning curve with the new InfoTainment system and stopped to try to square away my route, as I'd not elected to bring a passport. I set a course for the Waffle House east of Cleveland and the GPS started pushing me south to I-80 and then to I-90, which after a stellar dinner at the WH, was my best route back home.
