Default Headed up to Maine in a couple weeks...

I need a vacation. My business doesn't allow me time off all summer. So what are the good places to see? I will be trailering the bike up and then ride from there on day trips. Like to see some Coastal and maybe some mountains. Maybe get some good sea food. Any info would be great Thank You...

For starters you can Google ......Acadia National Park / Cadillac Mountain / Bar Harbor
That's enough to start with. I'm sure there will be many more suggestions to choose from.

Yes, Acadia/Bar Harbor area will get you both mountains and coast. Lots of small coastal Maine towns around there too. Maine is a big state, lots of places to go. I like staying north of Bangor to see the smaller towns, but there is plenty to see in southern Maine too around Portland, York, Kennebunk.

Make sure to make a stop at Bentley's Saloon/Campground in Arundel. Great biker bar.

I went to the Wild Wild West Party last year, it was around the same time it is this year (10th), it was a blast, place was packed. We rode from Vermont, it was cold as hell but worth it. Enjoy!

Cold or not, must have been good to get away from "Rut-Vegas"
