Default Brad Penn in a 3 holes?

***I hate that you can't edit the thread title. Of course I meant "all 3", not "a 3".***

No, not 20W50 in all 3.

If you were going to put BP in all 3 what would you use? I'm thinking...

20W50 in crank (of course)
80W90 in tranny
Straight 30 in primary? Or would 10W40 work better here? I'm still not sure about cold flow requirements in the primary. It seems most people that use multi-grade oils in the primary do so because they are easier to get than single grades.

Talking What kind of title is this?

Is this an oil question or are trying to find a "certain type of movie?"

I have been using HD Formula+ in the primary, and it seems to work fine. Some use automatic tranny fluid. I have been running Castrol GTX 20-50 dino in the engine, and 75-90 gear lube in the tranny. Works great in my 99 EVO, and so far no leaks or seeps.

I would email them and ask them the moly content of the 10w40. If it is not too high then use it. But if it is a high moly count then I would use ATF or Formula+

Good call. Totally forgot that Brad Penn's "thing" is high ZDDP for flat tappet appliations. Probably not the best for the primary. I'll stick with F+.
