The Hideout Saloon - permanently closed
Just wanted to help spread the word.
A couple weeks ago about 6 of us planned a ride to The Hideout Saloon by Lake Henshaw. When we got there, much to our dismay, it was closed. Several of us checked Yelp, nothing said it was closed. Checked Facebook and nothing said it was closed. Looked in the windows and it didn't look like they were closed. Tables still set for service, etc...
Not to let that ruin our ride, we decided to head up to Julian.
On our way back we passed the Hideout and must have seen another 15-20 people out front experiencing the same thing we did.
Probably want to take this off your list of destination rides this summer.

And it was open after that, we went twice last summer. They announce on September 13th of last year that they would be open during the week too.
I heard a rumor that it's for sale, but haven't been able to find any listing for it.
