My stepson and I left Saturday morning a few weeks ago for Milwaukee on his '48 pan and my '57 pan. Rode 40 miles to Gettysburg for breakfast and decided it was getting to cold to ride north so decided to ride to Maggie Valley, NC. Spent the night in Wytheville, VA and in the morning decided to go to Myrtle Beach instead for the beginning of bike week. Got there late Sunday afternoon and spent Monday at the Beach. Left Tuesday for home and took 2 days on some great back roads, dodging raindrops on Wednesday and got home to Frederick Wednesday eve. 1400 miles total and both bikes ran flawlessly.

I haven't ridden mine in a while. Have some exhaust issues and need to replace a tranny seal. Here are a few pics. Not all original but the engine is a genuine 1950 Harley Panhead...

Here is my version of my Pan rider bike, now that I am retired I have time to get the bugs worked out.

Just got her licensed / and tagged at the end of the riding season 2019,

Started off with a 58 FL engine I found in Holland, 58 Frame I found in Texas, and the rest is a mix of what fit's and works from various years of Harley-Davidson parts.....what fit my budget, internet forum friends, swap meets and ebay.

Waiting on spring to get the bugs ironed out and make it a reliable runner.

George

Right side

Left side

Upgraded rear disk brake.

Front, All LED lighting front and rear.
