Default Powder scratches?

I am starting a new project I purchases a 2011 denim black street glide and want to gloss black several items. My concern is powder getting swirls and scratches in it that can't be buffed or waxed out. My last bike had a lot of black powder coat and black painted surfaces but the black paint that I used seam to hold up better to scratches. It was black apliance paint in a spray can. Did I get bad powder or is this normal for powder I know it's tougher as far as nicks and rocks chips but how about light scuffs.

powder is still like paint and can get the micro scratches, that said you can wetsand and buff it out, it just takes alot more work to do it... first try some polishing compound on a clean microfiber, put good pressure on it, if that does not work start with 2000g wet, the back to polishing... it works just takes a good amount of effort as it is hard stuff!

you can wet sand and buff to a glass finish

i had tried to hand buff with a micro fiber but the swirls just seam to get worse, I am wanting to do several items in gloss black and just concerned about getting the same results as last time. Is there a differance in the powder that is used, the company that I used was local and they did mostly production type of work, also the powder they used on the rocker box tops started to bubble and sag. It looked good at first but just did not hold up like I had hoped it would, Maby I am just expecting to much from it.

well we offer a rocker box exchange program... we use a powder that is much harder than typical powders for our bike applications, it is tough stuff but will still micro scratch just not as bad... i had a chick ask to take a picture on my bike the other day (friends girlfriend) he drunk *** stood on my primary and pipe to try and stand up... her foot slipped off the primary and scratched it all the way down as did the pipe... took me about 5 min with some polishing compound and then wax and you would really have to know where it was to see anything... her on the other hand... we may never see her again hahaha no she felt like a moron and it was an accident. it was my own fault for letting a drunk *** chick toss her leg over my bike...
