So I picked up my first Harley Monday, 2012 Blackline in Black Denim, love the bike so far. But it has 1 small water spot or spot of something on the tank that I can not get to come off! I tried Windex with and without ammonia, Harley denim cleaner, dish soap and water, 50/50 vinegar and water, pure vinegar with no luck, lol. I didn't think to take a pic of it today, but I will tomorrow for sure, if anyone has any ideas please let me know.

Any paint other than Denim I'd say use "The Bom." But I've never tried it on Denim.

 

Hmm, yea I don't think that stuff would work on the denim. I'll get a pic later today when I get back home of the spot though.

I have the same problem with water spots. I actually waxed the whole bike, but then there was a slight sheen to the finish. To get rid of that I used dawn dish soap. Bike looks as if it just came off showroom floor.
