replacing transmission seals
My bearing race walked in onto the main drive shaft, so I took it all apart and want to replace all the appropriate seals. so far i bought the baker high torque bearing and seal that comes with it, and i think i want to buy this james kit

Or this cometic one

I read in a previous post by dan89flstc that all these should be replaced:
Shifter Shaft Seal (many prefer the Cometic brand double lipped seal)
Main Drive Gear Seal (the big oil seal)
Pulley Spacer
Quad Seal (goes under the spacer)
Starter Jackshaft Seal (inner primary cover)
Mainshaft Bearing Seal (inner primary cover)
Main Drive Gear/Mainshaft Seal (goes into the end of the main drive gear and seals the space between the main drive gear and the mainshaft).
In addition (while you`re in there...) you might consider pulling the gearset out of the case and replacing the two springs on the shifter shaft/pawl.
The big spring is known to fail. Buy extra snap rings, they are tiny and have a habit of disappearing .
Also, be sure to use new lock bolts on the pulley nut lockplate.
My question is which kit is better and what am i going to have to get that is not included in the kit. (Edit: also i should mention i have the transmission cassette out so i want to do as much maintenance as possible thats not going to break the bank.)
Thank you!
