Clutch bearings
I posted yesterday in the general section about a noise I have been chasing for a couple months now. So, I have a couple questions about the clutch assembly. Is there any bearing in the clutch assembly that spins under all conditions? This noise I have is present when the clutch is in or out with the transmission in gear or in neutral. I am hoping there is at least one bearing that spins under all of these conditions. If not, my noise almost has to be in the engine which spins under all of these conditions. Riding a 2008 electraglide. Thanks in advance.

Hub bearing is spinning in most conditions but not all that you are describing, when the clutch lever is pulled in does the noise lesson? If this is the case then it can be the hub bearing if it is consistent then no.

No it remains consistent. I have not found any condition that changes the noise. I was hoping you would respond to my question. If anybody would know I knew it would be you. If there is not any bearing that spins all the time, it must almost have to be the engine main bearing. Only got 40k miles from this rebuild. I think this may have to be my last twin cam. I hate this bike. Thanks Mark.
