Noise in the Primary

Noise in the Primary
I had a developing noise in the primary of my 2009 103, which I thought might be the compensator. Took it out and the spring set was very loose and as it was the original, it did need replacing.
I installed a Baker unit, and added the Attitude Adjuster just to alleviate future problems with the chain getting a little too tight. Completed the proper torque with the Baker compensator (140 ft lbs), adjusted the chain to 5/8", and buttoned it all up.
There's still what I believe to be excessive noise coming from the primary at idle. Pull in the clutch doesn't change anything. Put it in gear and it's quiet.
Any ideas, or am I just being oversensitive to noise?
