i have a 91 sportster i'm having trans trouble with.
it jumps in and out ouf gear?
it kinda just shudders in and out and then will be ok?
ive set the gear stack up to harley spec,changed the shift forks,the shifter drum and the main drive gear.
anybody run into this before?

 

Check the dog teeth on the gears they may be worn down to the point they can no longer hold the gears engaged.

 

dogs are perfect.
not a single worn part in the entire trans.
