Default Finally: A Ring Gear Replacement for '07 and Newer

If you need to replace the starter ring gear on a 2007 or newer model the MOCO makes you buy the the entire clutch basket for over $500. They do not offer a replacement ring gear. There is a company, Evolution Industries that makes and sells a replacement ring gear for 2007 and later models. It comes with installation instructions for removing the old pressed on gear and installing the new one. Cost is about $130-$160 depending on where you buy it. With all the ring gears being chewed up lately, this would save a lot of money. The Evolution Industries part number is 1010-1241. http://evolution-industries.com/default.aspx

JP has them here:

Other parts places have them as well so do a google search for best price.
