I have a 2006 softail deluxe that I put a new stator in last week. Did every thing by the book, put the clutch and compensating sprocket in together and adjusted the clutch screw and cable as the book says to do.The problem I am having is when I start the bike. With the clutch leaver pulled in when I put the bike in gear the bike rolls.

 

There is a "how to video" on you tube for the proper clutch adjustment on the primary end if that will help you.
